Multi-Company Consolidation Option
The !Trak-It Multi-Company Consolidation is an extra cost option designed to provide users in large multi-company or multiple-location organizations with a set of capabilities to easily support and maintain employee and/or applicant data. Each company's data can be stored in either a separate sub-directory or commingled with the data of the other companies owned by the same parent company and stored in the same sub-directory or folder.
With the Multi-Company Option for HR or AT you can:
• Create multiple new company ID's in the same sub-directory
• Create multiple new sub-directories
• Copy all of a company's data from one sub-directory to another sub-directory
• Delete a company from a sub-directory
• Change the Company ID of any company
• Consolidate company data from other sub-directories into a single sub-directory
• Move an employee or applicant from one company to another
Multi-company consolidation is easily accomplished by creating a new sub-directory and then importing all the desired data for the other company into the new sub-directory. Once all the data is in the same sub-directory, the user can run EEO reports, salary analysis reports or any of the other standard or custom reports. The consolidated data can be accessed and maintained either by viewing an individual company's employee or applicant data or by accessing all of the consolidated data at the same time.
The consolidated data requires each company to have a separate, unique 3 letter company ID, similar to the codes used by many payroll service bureaus. However, the employee numbers in one company can be duplicated in any of the other companies. Thus, companies ABC and XYZ can each have an employee number 1.
Ideal for service bureau use
The Multi-Company Consolidation option is ideally suited for payroll service bureaus where there is a need to easily and quickly create and maintain data from multiple companies in such a way that confidentiality is not compromised. This type of organization can also make good use of the !Trak-It Link Import/Export option. When used in conjunction with the !Trak-It Link Option, the service bureau can quickly create a new sub-directory and then populate the databases with data already stored in the service bureau's other databases.
